FAQ

How do I find a BJJ open mat near Clearwater?

OpenMapp lists Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu gyms in Clearwater that publish an open mat on a weekly timetable. Use this page for times, then read each gym card for visitor vs members-only. Unknown visitor status stays unknown.

Are BJJ open mats in Clearwater open to visitors?

Not always. A gym can welcome class drop-ins and keep open mat members-only. OpenMapp stores those as two fields. Never assume a listed open-mat time means walk-ins are welcome — check the gym card.

Are BJJ open mats free?

Sometimes. Some gyms list a visitor drop-in or day-pass price; some list $0; some do not publish a visitor price. OpenMapp only shows a fee when it is a published visitor drop-in or day pass — not a trial or membership. If the card says unknown, we do not invent a number.

What is the difference between an open mat and a class drop-in?

A class drop-in is a taught session. An open mat is rolling time with little or no formal instruction. Policies are often separate. See OpenMapp’s open mat vs class drop-in guide for how the two fields are labeled.
